We started development on Heat Bond Tape many years ago and have had great success in
the formulation and development of a superior system that works and has been a top seller
in our inventory

Adhesives :
In 1986 we took the decision that adhesives would be an important growth area and we
therefore went on a study tour to the United States of America and began research into the
formulation of specialized flooring adhesives. We continued our studies and research on an
“in house” basis. We have gone on to develop new formulation for outdoor use, contact
adhesive including a non-flammable contact. But by far our biggest challenge so far has
been an environmentally friendly “green adhesive” that meets the performance standards
set by traditional solvent-based adhesives. We have risen to that task as well and created Earthbond a superior acrylic based adhesive.

Aluminium Edgings :
Our development staff have been working with the flooring industry for over 30 years and
with the input of professional installers, has developed profiles to make any installation that
much easier and less time consuming. Unlike other systems that have developed over the
years we believe that aluminium is by far the answer. As aluminium makes up eight percent
of the world's crust there is no danger of shortage in the future. Aluminium requires very little maintenance and there is no danger of the profile cracking or fraying. Because of the lower
cost and ease of production of aluminium we are able to keep all products in stock.

Tools :
Tools have long been a part of our business and we are able to supply a instrument for most
jobs that might come about. Including the uplifting and fitting of carpets and vinyl floor coverings.
